In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience. You will welcome customers, guide them through our authentic menu, and provide attentive, friendly service from the moment they walk in until they leave.

Key Responsibilities Guest Relations:

Greet customers warmly at the entrance, manage seating, and create an inviting dining atmosphere.

Menu Expertise:

Explain our regional dishes, ingredients, and traditional cooking styles to guests. Answer questions regarding allergen information (dairy, nuts, gluten) and guide them on spice-level choices.

Order Management:

Take accurate food and drink orders and input them efficiently into our point-of-sale (POS) system.

Service Delivery:

Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and handling heavy trays safely. Proactively check on tables to refill water, offer additional breads, and clear empty plates.

Payment Processing:

Present accurate checks, handle cash and credit card transactions securely, and process receipts.

Restaurant Upkeep:

Maintain a clean, organized dining area. Reset tables quickly, complete assigned daily side-work (such as folding napkins and refilling condiments), and help clean the front-of-house at closing. Requirements & Skills Proven experience as a server or waitress in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Knowledge of or familiarity with Indian cuisine and hospitality is highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle customer inquiries with patience and courtesy. Excellent multitasking capabilities and the physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for long periods. A reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; food safety certification is a plus.
