Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to maximize sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and provide correct change or receipts Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail recipes to recommend options that suit guest preferences Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during service, including proper handling of food and beverages Assist with setting up tables, bussing dishes, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Support team members during busy hours by managing multiple tables efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is desirable Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required A passion for hospitality with a positive attitude that energizes the team and enhances guest experiences Join us if you're ready to bring your enthusiasm for food and beverage service into a dynamic environment where your skills make a real difference!
