Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha and Micros, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled. Recommend wine pairings, cocktails, and spirits to enhance each guest's meal and boost sales through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail preparation and beverage service, maintaining high standards of presentation. Process cash and card transactions efficiently while handling all sales transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from seating to departure. Qualifications Proven experience as a server in upscale or fine dining restaurants with a strong background in food industry standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing. Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables seamlessly during busy hours. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently. Previous experience in culinary settings or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
