Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Server/ Food Expeditor to join our team. You will serve as the link between the kitchen and front-of-house service staff. You will also take tables at our counter top. This a tipped job (you do take tips home daily) Responsibilities Act as the central communication point between kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery Expedite orders by prioritizing and organizing plates for efficient service flow Confirm accuracy of orders before they leave the kitchen, checking for proper presentation and completeness Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting culinary staff in maintaining smooth operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station to promote a safe and efficient workspace Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas as needed to enhance guest experience Experience Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper sanitation practices Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems for order tracking is advantageous Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently in a busy setting Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
