Event Wait Staff (Black Tie Event) One-Day Event | September 22 | 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM Southwest Weddings is seeking professional, polished event staff to assist with an elegant black-tie magazine launch and awards celebration at the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe. We're looking for individuals who are friendly, dependable, and take pride in providing exceptional guest service in a refined event setting. Responsibilities Pass trays of hors d'oeuvres and desserts to guests throughout the event. Maintain a professional, welcoming presence while interacting with attendees. Assist with event setup, including arranging chairs, tables, and other event furnishings. Help replenish serving trays and maintain the presentation of food service. Keep service areas clean and organized throughout the evening. Assist with event breakdown at the conclusion of the event, as directed (bussing, chairs, etc.) Qualifications Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or event service experience preferred. Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds. Punctual, reliable, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.
