Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling additional menu items like cocktails or wine Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations by bussing and sanitizing as needed Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail options to enhance guest experience Uphold food safety standards, proper sanitation practices, and responsible alcohol service in compliance with health regulations Work as a team player and support fellow team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations. Complete all assigned opening and closing duties thoroughly and in a timely manner. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, especially in fine dining or hospitality environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Maintain thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, portion sizes, and available modifications. Be able to confidently answer guest questions about menu items, accommodate dietary needs when possible, and make appropriate recommendations.
