Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Upsell menu items, wine pairings, cocktails, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas; bus tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards diligently to uphold health regulations and guest safety Assist with food preparation, beverage service including spirits and cocktail mixing, and basic food handling when needed Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle special requests professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly Support team members during busy periods by coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow Experience Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent guest relations Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on guest services and relationship building is highly valued Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a lively and energetic attitude Join us to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences that delight guests at every turn!
