In this fast-paced role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Duties Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring presentation and temperature are maintained. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining smooth operations. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding order accuracy, special requests, or timing adjustments. Ensure all food handling complies with safety standards and food safety regulations to protect guest health. Buss tables and clear dishes efficiently to keep dining areas clean, organized, and inviting. Support serving staff by delivering beverages or additional items promptly during service. Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent guest service skills. Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient service. Experience in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. A background in hospitality or culinary arts enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
