In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate the Toast POS systems for processing transactions efficiently. Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and balancing the register at the end of shifts. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies at all times. Skills Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a must. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including retail math knowledge. Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations in the restaurant industry. Previous experience in serving, cashiering, or other roles within the food industry is advantageous.
