Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings Prepare and serve ice cream, sundaes, floats, and other treats according to established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision Upsell additional items like toppings or specialty desserts to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, including food prep stations, counters, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as scooping, portioning, and restocking supplies during busy periods Support team members with bussing tables, cleaning spills, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Experience in retail or grocery store environments is beneficial but not mandatory Kitchen or culinary experience can be an asset for food preparation tasks Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating sweet moments for our guests!
