Restaurant Server

Compensation:

$11 hourly plus gratuities

Responsibilities:

Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities

Qualifications:

This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Prior food service industry experience is highly desired About Company Conveniently located in downtown Binghamton's business and government districts.
