Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking team members who can create an excellent food and beverage experience to patrons in our poolside and beach-front, through prompt, professional, and detail oriented service. This includes understanding our menus, and specials, and being able to explain and entertain diners with this information. Our resort has multiple dining outlets, and our servers may be asked to work at different locations within our property, based on staffing needs. This outlet generally operates 7 days a week in the Summer from 11am to 5pm and again 6pm to 10pm.

$10.70 an hour + gratuities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete opening side work as assigned Ensure table cleanliness, menu cleanliness, etc. Attend pre-meal meeting on time, and in full uniform Ensure proper menu, product and resort knowledge Greeting and seating guest Delivery of Menu Proper cash handling skills Verbal presentation of menu to guest Inform guest of specials Knowledge of wine presentation Exhibits proper selling techniques POS (Point of Sale) skills Time and coordinate food delivery Validate guest satisfaction and anticipate guest needs through observation during the experience Clearing of food and beverage items, even when Busser is on duty (Pre-bus!) Ensure accuracy of guest check and apply any necessary discounts, etc. Re-set tables promptly and be prepared for your next guests Handle guest concerns and issues and bring to the attention of manager immediately Complete closing side work and end of shift paperwork Attend trainings and meetings as required Other duties as assigned The company also conducts post-offer employment verification, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.
