The opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Servers to join our 1970 Club team at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. Join our team as a Server and be part of a dynamic environment where your exceptional service skills take guests to their favourite culinary destination. Please note that this is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay doesn't include any potential tipped earnings. What will you do? Greet club visitors warmly, explain the scope of the all-inclusive food and beverage packages, and answer venue questions Accurately collect guest orders and communicate them to the bar or kitchen, and promptly navigate through busy rooms, balancing heavy trays while attentive to guest needs Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures. Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, closing out tableside transactions with guests in a high-volume premium environment Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff Maintain clean tables, clear empty glassware, and restock service stations. Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning More about you Experience in cash handling and credit card processing Beneficial if you have one year's experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment Physical requirements Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as standing, walking, bending for long periods of time, which may include walking up stairs Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks Shift details
