Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance the dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy Upsell menu items including premium wines, spirits, or specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or fine dining establishments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in hospitality environments such as nightclubs or casual dining is advantageous Join our team if you're passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences through exceptional service!
