Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Server Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will support the front-of-house operations by assisting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to upholding food safety standards while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Assist servers with food running, delivering dishes promptly and accurately to guests Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including table clearing, bussing, and resetting tables efficiently Support in food handling and preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or equipment Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of utensils, dishes, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards Manage in-person customer service interactions with professionalism and courtesy Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and payments Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling practices Assist with general kitchen duties, including food preparation and organization Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bussing, serving, and food running Basic understanding of hospitality principles and guest services Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail If you are passionate about providing excellent guest experiences and eager to grow within the hospitality industry, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
