Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Support the team with basic math for cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation and handling protocols Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with guest services platforms like OpenTable for reservations management Effective communication skills to build rapport with guests and team members Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality makes a difference!
