Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner, Host, and Food Service Associate, where you'll be the heartbeat of our restaurant's vibrant atmosphere! In this multifaceted role, you'll ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and front-of-house, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Your energy and attention to detail will help create memorable dining moments for every guest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Duties Greet guests warmly and manage reservation and seating arrangements with professionalism and enthusiasm. Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to tables, maintaining food safety standards and presentation quality. Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables efficiently, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Prepare beverages including coffee or specialty drinks, supporting baristas or beverage stations as needed. Maintain cleanliness of service areas by dishwashing, food handling, and general cleaning duties to uphold health standards. Support catering events or banquet setups with food preparation, serving, or delivery duties as required. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure guest needs are met promptly and courteously. Uphold food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices throughout all duties. Experience Previous experience in food service roles such as host/hostess, busser, server, or catering assistant is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cashiering tasks. Experience in hospitality environments including restaurants, hotels, catering events, or banquet settings is highly valued. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with excellent guest relations experience are essential for success in this role. Prior work involving beverage preparation or coffee service (barista experience) is a plus.
