Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive until their departure. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery of food and drinks Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements during busy hours Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential Previous host/hostess or serving experience that demonstrates guest relations expertise Join us to be part of a lively team committed to delivering memorable dining experiences.
