In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Your organizational skills and friendly demeanor will help manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow seamlessly. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest transitions and timely seating Uphold food safety standards by managing guest flow in accordance with health guidelines Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations and guest relations Experience with restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and billing procedures when necessary Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to hospitality environments Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences is essential Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel special!
