Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become a vital part of delivering exceptional guest experiences in a lively, upscale dining environment. As a Server, you will be the friendly face that guides guests through their culinary journey, ensuring every detail—from food presentation to personalized service—is executed flawlessly. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry knowledge, hospitality skills, and passion for service in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including wine and spirits options. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage cash handling and sales transactions accurately, processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, stations, and dining areas; assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed. Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures at all times. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and resolving any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate guest preferences effectively. Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability in wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude; guest relations should be your priority. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing; attention to detail is essential. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
