Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience! In this dynamic role, you will be the backbone of smooth restaurant operations, ensuring tables are clean, well-prepared, and ready for new guests. You'll deliver food swiftly and accurately from the kitchen to the dining area, providing friendly in-person customer service that makes every guest feel valued. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service Assist with food running by delivering dishes promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Support the cleaning of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs in accordance with food safety protocols Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or equipment using safe lifting practices Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware to maintain a tidy environment for guests Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate timely food delivery and guest needs Support in food preparation or setup as needed, adhering to food handling and safety standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; a willingness to learn is essential Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
