Job Description
Server - Artie's & Captain Mike's South Shore Fish Market & Restaurant We're looking for a friendly, professional, and team-oriented Server to join our crew at Artie's & Captain Mike's South Shore Fish Market & Restaurant. For us, serving is about much more than taking an order and delivering food. Our servers are a major part of the experience we provide. From the moment a guest sits down until the moment they leave, we want them to feel welcomed, cared for, and confident that they chose the right place to dine. We take tremendous pride in the friendliness, professionalism, and freshness our restaurant represents—and our servers bring those values to the table. We're looking for someone who: Enjoys being part of a team and is willing to help wherever needed Builds genuine relationships with guests and makes them feel welcome Can learn our menu and confidently make informed recommendations Is attentive and able to anticipate guest needs Communicates well with fellow servers, food runners, bussers, kitchen staff, and management Understands that great service means creating an experience—not simply taking an order Is dependable, professional, and comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant environment Experience is preferred, but personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn matter just as much. POS System We use the Toast POS system , which is straightforward and user-friendly. Previous Toast experience is a plus, but absolutely not required . If you haven't used Toast before, that's okay—we'll teach you. What Matters Most to Us Every guest is paying for an experience that we are proud to provide. We want servers who take ownership of that experience and understand that great food deserves equally great service.
