Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest relations skills and a passion for providing exceptional food service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and explaining daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions responsibly. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
