Job Summary •Please read the full description and qualifications before applying!•We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest relations skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by providing attentive service, knowledgeable recommendations, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor in the absence of a host. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, including seasonal drink specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Shift 4 POS system. Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high standards of food presentation. Manage guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication during busy shifts. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests. Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Knowledge of coffee drinks is a plus. We have a robust coffee menu. Candidates with strong working knowledge of these drinks and the ability to communicate the differences between them will be given preference during the interview process. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards. Excellent math skills for handling transactions accurately. Proven ability to build rapport with guests through effective communication and hospitality skills. Knowledge of food allergies and appropriate measures that should be taken when guest(s) with allergies are present. Knowledge of basic dietary preferences such as vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian. Familiarity with Shift 4 POS or similar touchscreen point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Advanced cash handling skills and the ability to maintain a server bank. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player with strong interpersonal skills who can contribute positively to the restaurant atmosphere.
