Job Overview The Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Latham , is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences at various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and other special occasions. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing high-quality guest services while ensuring that all food and beverage offerings are presented beautifully and served efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decorations. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service operations. Clear tables and reset for the next course or event as necessary. Follow all food handling procedures to ensure guest safety. Skills Strong knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry. Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Basic culinary skills for food preparation tasks are advantageous. Familiarity with coffee service and beverage presentation is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality. Previous experience in banquet serving or related roles is beneficial but not required.
