Job Description
Casa Susanna, our award-winning modern Mexican restaurant led by three-time James Beard nominee Executive Chef Efrén Hernández, is looking for passionate hospitality professionals to join our front-of-house team. Located at the Camptown Hotel, we are a group of professionals who love what we do, committed to mindful hospitality and cultivating unforgettable experiences. We are an inclusive space; individuals of marginalized identities are encouraged to apply. Currently seeking a Server who is available for Saturday and Sunday brunch, with the interest in picking up dinner shifts. Positive and healthy work environment with happy guests. - Over 18 to serve alcohol in New York State.
Job Functions:
- Interact and provide food and drinks for guests in the restaurant.
- Attend daily pre-shift meeting and take proper notes of any changes, specials, etc.
- Set up and breakdown of dining room and bar
- Keep spaces clean and in order at all times.
- Make sure all side work and checklists are completed and signed off on.
- Carefully take and place orders in the POS system.
- Ensure all payment methods are processed accurately.
- Process your check-out and ensure your money is accounted for and properly handed to the manager on duty.
Responsibilities:
- Able to stand for at least an 8 hour shift.
Punctuality:
adhere to posted schedule and arrival times.- Adhere to all service points and lines of communication.
- Adhere to company uniform, hygiene and grooming standards.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients and allergies.
- Attend all mandatory training and meetings.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times, even during stressful situations.
Pay:
$30.00- $60.
