Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers in ensuring that all guest needs are met during their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of food items. Uphold food safety standards by properly handling and storing food items. Communicate effectively with team members regarding orders, special requests, and any issues that may arise. Support banquet events by assisting in food service and setup as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
