Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales and tips Assist with food preparation, plating, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations Buss tables by clearing dishes, resetting for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness of dining areas Support host/hostess duties by managing reservations through OpenTable and coordinating seating arrangements Upsell menu items including wines, cocktails, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and menu offerings to provide expert recommendations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction Uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food handling throughout all duties Skills Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with POS transaction processing is essential Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming atmosphere Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques in a restaurant setting Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities Experience with beverage service including spirits, cocktails, wine knowledge, and bartending (Cocktail experience preferred) Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or high-volume environments is highly desirable Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions Strong communication skills for guest relations and team collaboration Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel special!
