Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment Italian fine dining restaurant located in a small village. We are open from Thursday - Monday 5pm - 9pm. We are looking for a main server 5 days a week. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, including wine and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, a passion for food and wine, and be customer focused. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage. Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell when appropriate to enhance guest experience. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items including wine, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests. Experience Previous experience in food service is required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
