Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Server, where your enthusiasm and exceptional customer service skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude will be key to your success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a vibrant, fast-paced environment dedicated to culinary excellence and guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including specials and wine pairings. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks professionally while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling and food safety protocols. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit. Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests, supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed. Assist with opening or closing duties, including cash handling, cashiering, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Experience Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a strong asset. Experience in food service roles including serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or food preparation enhances your candidacy. Demonstrated skills in customer service, guest relations, upselling techniques, and sales are essential for success. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling is required to ensure compliance with health standards. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Hospitality background combined with culinary or kitchen experience will support your ability to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and elevate guest experiences.
