Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transaction processing Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including spirits service and cocktail preparation with proper techniques Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to foster positive guest relations and ensure a memorable visit Support reservation management through OpenTable or similar systems to optimize seating flow and guest experience Promote a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests and providing exceptional customer service from start to finish Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, especially in fine dining environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service enhances guest interactions Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is essential Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service Excellent communication skills for guest interaction and teamwork within the restaurant staff Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy are required Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus for supporting overall restaurant operations Join us to deliver exceptional hospitality that delights every guest!
