Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff and bartenders Upsell menu items, specials, or beverages to increase sales while providing genuine recommendations tailored to guest preferences Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety protocols Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while providing exceptional guest experiences Background in serving or host/hostess roles within the food industry is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality in a lively environment!
