Job Summary For more than 30 years, PJ Lobster House has been one of Port Jefferson's favorite family-owned seafood restaurants. We're looking for hospitality professionals who enjoy building relationships with guests while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Provide exceptional service from greeting through payment. Become knowledgeable about our seafood menu, daily specials, beer, wine, and cocktail selections so you can confidently guide guests and make recommendations. Accurately enter food and beverage orders. Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately. Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs. Process guest payments accurately. Clean, sanitize, and reset your own tables during slower seasons. Assist with side work and maintain clean service stations. Communicate with the kitchen, bartenders, hosts, and managers. Support other departments whenever needed. Job Requirements Previous serving experience preferred but not required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and seafood is preferred, but we're happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn. Comfortable cleaning and resetting your own tables during slower seasons. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
