Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of offerings. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety protocols. Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately while handling cash transactions with integrity. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, resetting tables efficiently, and assisting with food handling and sanitation procedures. Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction from start to finish. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable; ability to process sales transactions swiftly and accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests effectively. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills. Basic math skills for handling bills, processing payments, and managing cash drawer accurately. Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, food handling procedures, and proper beverage service protocols. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest enjoyment.
