Server/Waiter

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences by delivering high-quality service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the standards of our fine dining establishment. Duties Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections. Accurately enter orders into the system using OpenTable or similar software, ensuring all details are correct. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to proper presentation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Process payments accurately and efficiently while handling cash and credit transactions. Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with food industry standards. Experience Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred but not required. Familiarity with culinary terms and food preparation processes is beneficial. Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively while enhancing guest experience. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and payment handling. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. A background in hospitality or guest services is highly desirable.
