for Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a fun, outgoing personality with a positive attitude. Training will be provided.This position will be based in Sagaponack, New York. With tips, the pay ranges between $25 and $35 per hour.
Summary:
The Busser/Runner brings food out to the table, provides water refills as needed, removes used cheese plates or glassware between flights; clears tables after guests leave. Wash all glassware, cheese plates/boards and silverware.Duties & Responsibilities:
Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift. If you are a "lawn or terrace" busser, your role is to always stay in the proximity of tables. Remove used glassware between flights or cheese boards that are finished during the flight. Clear tables after guests. Take glassware to the lugs in the Tasting Room and place silverware and dishes in appropriate areas for washing. Between seatings promptly clean tabletops and chairs. Check floor and clean as required. Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed. Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed. Communicate with server and host to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service. Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods. Thank guests as they are leaving Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the tasting room directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor Skills and Abilities- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (case of wine)
