Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, providing guests with memorable dining experiences through excellent service and a welcoming attitude. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive atmosphere for guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist them in seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth start to their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Shift 4 POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktail and beverage service with spirits knowledge. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Process cash transactions efficiently, handle credit card payments, and manage sales transactions with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, serving areas, and workstations in compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Experience Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Knowledge of wine, spirits, drink service, and food safety practices enhances your effectiveness in this role. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills. Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash confidently.
