Job Summary Looking for someone for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, fridays and occaisonal saturday coverage. Please only apply of these times work for you. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, and ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable dining experience. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including OpenTable for reservations. Upsell menu items and daily specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales. Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Sanitate work areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety in the restaurant. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Assist in food preparation as needed during peak hours to support kitchen operations. Experience Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
