Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host, Food Runner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will also assist in delivering food efficiently and accurately, supporting our servers and kitchen staff to create a seamless dining experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively, upscale environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant reservation systems to optimize seating flow Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and providing menus with enthusiasm Manage waitlists and coordinate table assignments using restaurant table management systems such as SPOTON Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to tables while maintaining food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of host station and dining areas throughout service Communicate effectively with team members via phone and in person to coordinate guest seating and service flow Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously and professionally Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or food runner in a restaurant setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and welcoming demeanor Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as SPOTON and Resdiary Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for handling guest counts, reservations, and check processing Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus Join us at Rosalies Cucina where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests!
