Expo/Food Runner/Server

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner/Server, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This energetic position combines the fast-paced excitement of food presentation, timely service, and guest interaction. You will coordinate between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure orders are accurately prepared, promptly delivered, and beautifully presented. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Expedite food orders from the kitchen to ensure timely delivery to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages efficiently, supporting smooth table service during busy hours. Clear and reset tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS to relay special requests or modifications. Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards. Uphold food safety and handling procedures in accordance with health regulations to ensure guest safety. Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to engage with guests and team members effectively. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk swiftly between tables and kitchen stations, and lift moderate loads when necessary. Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is beneficial for supporting food prep tasks. A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring guest safety at all times.
