Whether assisting with meal service or ensuring the cleanliness of kitchenware and dining areas, you will be an essential part of our commitment to quality care and service. Responsibilities Greet and serve residents with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive dining experience Assist with food presentation, serving meals promptly and courteously while adhering to dietary requirements Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining a clean, organized dining area Operate kitchen equipment safely during meal preparation and service Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper sanitation procedures Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Support the dietary department by assisting with food handling, basic food production, and meal assembly when needed Requirements Prior experience in food service, culinary roles, or working with geriatric or nursing home populations is preferred Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safe lifting practices is essential Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and adhering to workplace safety standards Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely Experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry enhances suitability for this role Join us in delivering compassionate care through excellent service and sanitation! Pay:
$16.20 - $17.40 per hour
