Job Description
Service Assistant to Server at the Melting Pot is a customized job, that allows the best learning for the right person. At the Melting Pot, we are here for our guests every need and the server is part of the guest experience. There are many steps to becoming a Melting Pot server and we pride ourselves on educating our team so that they reach their fullest potential. As a service assistant, you will learn the many ins and outs of the Melting Pot and how our kitchen works. From learning the Expo position, to learning the ways we prep and serve our food, to proper bussing and serving our guests. For the right person, our training process gets you the confidence you will need to be successful for you and our business. Training for the service assistant is about 14 days and server training is conducted Monday through Saturday, 12pm to 7pm, with a scored test at the end of training. Our next server training will begin in August, to get ready for the holiday season and beyond! If you are ready for a new start and can commit to the training hours, apply today! Interviews will start Friday, June 26, 2026 and go through July 14, 2026. (We do not interview on the weekends) Resumes are only accepted through INDEED. Please do not apply at the restaurant. A phone interview will be conducted prior to setting up a face to face interview. Interviewees are expected to be dressed business casual and on time.
