Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and attention to detail will elevate the guest experience! In this vital role, you'll support the front-of-house operations by ensuring tables are clean, well-maintained, and ready for new guests. You'll also deliver food swiftly and accurately from the kitchen to the dining area, creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for every guest. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and organization in accordance with food safety standards Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and delivering utensils or condiments as needed Safely handle and transport food from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling techniques Support kitchen staff by delivering food orders promptly and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and disposing of trash according to sanitation protocols Help with light food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards Experience in food service or restaurant environments, with familiarity in serving and guest services Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices; capable of handling large trays or boxes of supplies Skilled in manual handling, bussing tables, and supporting food running duties efficiently Excellent communication skills for in-person customer service interactions and teamwork Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transaction management Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive service experiences Join us in creating memorable dining moments!
