VidaRestaurantNY.com About Us Vida is one of the hottest new restaurants in Westchester, bringing elevated cuisine, a vibrant atmosphere, and unmatched hospitality to Thornwood, NY. As part of a rapidly growing restaurant group with plans to expand and open new locations, we're building a team of passionate hospitality professionals who want to grow with us. We're looking for an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our team and help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders usingPOS. Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items, specials, and beverages Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, seamless service Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas Handle payments accurately and efficiently (cash and card transactions) Resolve guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy Assist teammates and support overall restaurant operations during busy shifts Qualifications Previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred Familiarity with SkyTab POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus Strong customer service skills with a warm, professional demeanor Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (or willingness to learn quickly) Reliable, team-oriented, and flexible with schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + tips A supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunities for growth within a fast-expanding restaurant group
