We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Banquet Servers to join our dynamic hospitality team on an on-call and as-needed basis.54 In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service during a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests through attentive service. Duties Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Set up banquet spaces according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, and utensils. Clear tables efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized service area throughout events. Assist with food presentation, refilling beverages, and responding promptly to guest requests. Support bartenders with beverage service, including wine pouring and drink delivery when required. Ensure proper handling of food items in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless event execution and uphold the venue's high service standards. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine selections and beverage options, to enhance guest experience. Support catering operations by assisting with setup, breakdown, and transportation of supplies as needed. Uphold hospitality standards by providing friendly guest interactions and addressing concerns professionally. Skills Prior experience in the food industry or banquet service is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food handling procedures, and fine dining etiquette. Excellent guest services skills with the ability to foster positive guest relations. Ability to perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and billing purposes. Knowledge of wine varieties, beverage service techniques, and POS (Point of Sale) systems is advantageous. Experience with catering setups, bussing tables, and food preparation enhances performance. Exceptional communication skills combined with a professional appearance and demeanor. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to varying event schedules and assist in multiple roles as needed.
