Heart & Hands Winery is seeking seasonal part-time tasting room servers to join a team that provides exceptional wine hospitality experiences. Compensation includes stated hourly rates plus tips. Hourly rates range from $16

You will get to work with a great team and take care of our fantastic, loyal, enthusiastic customers. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional care and customer service to our longtime loyal club members and first-time visitors alike. We cater only to small groups, and do tastings by appointment, so our team members can enjoy interacting with our visitors without the hassle of managing large parties. We are seeking team members for part-time positions, and are interested in both candidates who are seeking a seasonal Autumn position as well as candidates who are interested in a long-term role at the winery. We are open to the public 10.5 months / year, February through December. Candidates must be able to work at least 1 weekend day per week. Some basic wine knowledge is needed, but a passion for continually learning more about wine is a must

Candidates with FOH hospitality experience in a restaurant or tasting room setting are preferred.

Provide guests with an outstanding, welcoming tasting experience Deliver educational wine tastings that explain the Heart & Hands story and our wines Effectively sell our wines and our wine club to existing and potential customers Communicate effectively and courteously with a diverse clientele Process sales and wine shipments via winery Point of Sales system Prepare the tasting room and tasting patio areas for our guests

• set up tables, prepare wines and snacks, polish glasses Ensure our retail store is organized, sparkly, and well-stocked so that guests enjoy every visit Wash and polish glasses Clean and set tables Perform other duties as assigned

Availability Requirements:

We will hire several team members for this position to ensure that we have adequate coverage during the peak season while offering team members flexibility Candidates must be able to work at least 1 weekend day per week, and priority will be given to candidates with greater weekend availability From May

Compensation:

From $16 / hour depending on experience. Servers also receive tips and sales incentives for meeting winery goals. Last season, the average hourly pay, including hourly wages + tips, was between $26

• $35 per hour depending on the shift worked.

About Us:

Heart & Hands was founded in 2006 by Tom & Susan Higgins with a dream of creating world-class Pinot Noir from the vines on our limestone-rich land. We are a family-run boutique winery and sustainably farmed vineyard crafting limited-production premium wine. Our tasting room experience provides visitors with a high-end educational exploration of where the grapes are grown and how the wines are crafted. Heart & Hands focuses on small groups which allows our tasting room staff to get to know our customers and spend time talking with them about the wine. We are located on the east side of Cayuga Lake, just north of the beautiful, historic Village of Aurora.
