Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments accurately Upsell menu items, including wines and specialty cocktails, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations Clear tables and bus tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and spirits to enhance guest experience Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly Maintain a clean and organized work station in accordance with sanitation standards Support guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred; fine dining or hospitality experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry This role offers an engaging environment for those passionate about the food industry who want to grow their hospitality skills while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
