Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy atmosphere. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests while efficiently managing multiple tasks. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommend items to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring all sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Assist with training new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of restaurant operations and best practices. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
