Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that customers have a memorable visit. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are preferably looking for a full-time server-- with the hours from 10 am to 9 pm with a two-hour break-- however, part-time opportunities are available as well. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Manage cash register transactions, including processing payments and handling cash accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Undertake opening and closing responsibilities including sidework throughout the day Experience Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong basic math skills for handling transactions effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy setting.
