Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, menu knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm for food, beverage, and guest satisfaction will help create memorable dining moments. The ideal candidate is passionate about food service, skilled in upselling and sales, and experienced in fine dining environments. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Manage guest inquiries professionally, addressing concerns with a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for incoming guests while maintaining cleanliness standards Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for bills and tips Maintain knowledge of restaurant operations including OpenTable reservations, food safety regulations, and sanitation procedures Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment that adheres to health standards Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience with OpenTable reservation management or similar booking platforms is a plus Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Experience in nightlife venues such as nightclubs or casual dining settings is beneficial Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and tip calculations are essential Previous host/hostess experience or serving roles that involve guest interaction will be considered a strong asset Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets your desire to deliver unforgettable dining experiences!
